Picture praised

I WAS hugely impressed, and somewhat moved, by the prominentfront-page photo in Monday’s edition of The Examiner, from the Carols byCandlelight.

I want to congratulate photographer Phillip Biggs, and The Examiner for publishing the photo, and forespecially placing it on page 1.

The photo was much more than a “family pic” photo -every aspect of it conveyed many messages.

I cannot recall another picture from times past that compareswith this photo.

The photographer must have had great skills to have capturedthat “special moment”. It’s the photo of the century to my mind.

And just how timely was the publishing of that fantastic”good news” photo, after all of the depressing news that we’ve hadover past weeks.

So, thank you, to you and your team for publishing thatwonderful photo of the Kenzie children, and for doing it so prominently.

May I also take this opportunity, of commending everyone involvedat The Examiner for their ongoingexcellence in preparing and publishing The Examiner newspaper.

You all do a wonderful job, and that’s so clear to see when oneis away from Launceston and has to read a different newspaper.
