Keighley’s show success

In the Youth ring on the Saturday Ash achieved the following results- Champion Youth Handler

Reserve Champion Youth Rider, Reserve Champion Bridle Path Hack Ridden by a Youth.

On the Sunday- Reserve Champion Open Hack, Supreme Amateur Ridden Arabian and Champion Rider 13 years and under 18 years.

It was a very busy show schedule. Ash had seven classes a day. There was over 250 horses competing and wonderful sponsors who provided fantastic prizes.

Canberra also provided hot weather with Sunday reaching 36 degrees.

Ash has worked extremely hard with a somewhat difficult young horse but with huge encouragement from her peers and mentors as well as Ash’s determination to re educate her horse, both horse and rider have developed a special bond and a mutual respect for each other which has resulted in a very successful few months of showing.
